**April 22, 2018 - After much thought, consideration and research, I have decided that I will not pursue the goal of adding a needlework shop division to my company. There are several excellent online resources available to needlework enthusiasts and, though I still believe that I could have assembled a wonderful array of high quality needlework products for a shop, the timing is just not right for the company.

I will be liquidating the inventory that I currently have on hand in the near future. Some distributors require an agreement not to discount their merchandise; however, any inventory not specifically covered by agreement will be liquidated at reduced prices. I am preparing a listing of all merchandise on hand and, when complete, will provide the listing online via the website followed by an email notification of publication to anyone interested. The merchandise available includes new and pre-owned designs (some out-of-print), new and pre-owned kits (some out-of-print), fabric, threads and all needlework-related items purchased for the shop. All merchandise is in new, shop-ready condition, unless otherwise noted, and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Merchandise is limited to inventory on hand. My intention is to have the listing complete and ready for publication on the website in the late summer/early fall.

If you are interested in receiving an email notification once the merchandise list is posted on the website, please send an email to paige@themadsamplar.com. I will gather email addresses (for purposes of a one-time email regarding the shop liquidation) and the notification will be sent to all interested in a single mailing.

I will accept orders via email and will process them in the order received. I will verify merchandise availability and will email a Paypal invoice for the amount due plus shipping. Shipping will be provided at actual cost plus $2.00 to cover shipping supplies. In addition, I will utilize flat-rate priority mail shipping options when appropriate to minimize your shipping costs. Insurance will be purchased and added to your invoice for shipments exceeding a value of $100. If you would like insurance on shipments with a value less than $100, please request it in your order email.

Payment will be due for invoices within 24 hours of email. NO EXCEPTIONS. Invoices not paid within this time frame will be voided and the inventory returned to the sale list. In return, I will ship orders within 24 hours of payment Monday through Saturday. No shipping is available on Sunday.

This has been a somewhat bittersweet decision, but I feel I must make decisions based on the best interest of the company as a whole. I look forward to hearing from everyone interested. Hopefully, a few will find a treasure you've been looking for or a find you didn't even know you needed!

P.S.S. I have really enjoyed working with the “pre-owned” merchandise that I have assembled from a variety of sources. In the event that this sale is well-received and successful, I may entertain future sales of pre-owned merchandise as I do receive quite a few requests to liquidate high-end patterns and kits for some of my customers.
